What the other services actually charge
Pricing checked August 20, 2026
Three companies sell Certificate of Good Standing retrieval alongside us. Two of them publish a price, one does not, and none of them include your state’s filing fee in the number they advertise. Below is what each one says on its own page, with a link to the page it came from.
Published price, and what it does not include
| Service | Published price | State filing fee | Turnaround, as published |
|---|---|---|---|
| GetGoodStanding | From $50, all in | Included in the price | 1 to 2 business days for most states; same day where the state portal issues instantly |
| LegalZoom | $45 standard, $75 rush | Added on top (“+ state filing fees”) | Not published for the standard tier; rush is described as 2-day shipping once the certificate is ready |
| Northwest Registered Agent | Not published | Not stated | They publish each state’s processing time, not their own |
| Harbor Compliance | $175 | Added on top (“plus state fees”) | None given; their page says state processing times cannot be guaranteed |
Read from each company’s own page on August 20, 2026 and quoted as published. Because three of the four numbers exclude the state’s charge, add your state’s fee to them before comparing; our per-state table shows the all-in figure on our side.
vs LegalZoom
$45 standard and $75 rush, both before state filing fees. What that works out to next to a $50 all-in price.

They will get the certificate for you, but no service fee is published. What their page does give you is genuinely useful.

$175 plus state fees, from a compliance firm built for multi-state programs. Where that is worth it, and where it is not.

- · Only first-party figures. Every price is read off the other company’s own public page and linked from the page it appears on. Nothing is taken from a review site or an affiliate roundup.
- · Every page carries a date. A comparison without one is worthless, because these prices change without notice.
- · No price means no price. Northwest does not publish a fee for this service, so we say that instead of estimating one.
- · Every page names where they beat us. Attorney access, reinstatement work, free reference material: all three do something we do not, and each page says which.
- · State fees stated plainly. Ours are inside the price. Theirs are added on top. That difference is the whole reason a $45 quote and a $50 quote are not what they look like.
