Short answer
Harbor Compliance charges $175 plus state fees to obtain a Certificate of Good Standing. We charge from $50 with the state fee included. Harbor is built for companies running compliance across many states, and they sell reinstatement when an entity has fallen out of good standing, which we do not. For a single certificate on a single entity, we are the cheaper and simpler order.

When Harbor Compliance is the better pick
If the state comes back and says your entity is not in good standing, Harbor is the better call and we will say so on the phone. They sell reinstatement, they work the back filings, and they deal with more than one state agency on your behalf. We stop at the refund. They are also the better fit for a company running compliance across a dozen states, or one whose registered agent, annual reports and foreign qualifications should sit in one system with one account manager, and their foreign qualification package folds the certificate in rather than pricing it separately. None of that is what a single certificate needs, which is where the $125 difference stops being worth it.
